On September 24, 2026, the “Digital Education Day” will take place in Graz. Organized by the Styrian University of Education, the event will bring together educators, experts, and stakeholders from the education sector to discuss current developments and innovative approaches to digital education. The focus is on practical insights, new digital technologies, and their effective use in the classroom. Presentations, workshops, and opportunities for personal exchange provide a space for new ideas, inspiration, and networking centered on the digital future of schools and education.

Digital School Registration with SOKRATES: The Process from Registration to Acceptance
This presentation will demonstrate how the school registration process can be handled entirely digitally using SOKRATES. Participants will gain practical insight into the entire registration process, from online registration by parents or guardians to uploading the required documents and transferring the data into the school’s administrative system. This demonstrates how schools can efficiently organize their processes, create transparency, and significantly reduce administrative tasks in the enrollment process.
The SOKRATES school registration system completely replaces the previous paper-based process and, through its integrated communication with parents, actively and directly involves guardians in the entire process.
